Yellowfin Tuna, also known as Ahi, populate oceans worldwide. They are one of the larger tuna species and can grow to between three and four hundred pounds. While their skin is a brilliant yellow, blue and silver, their flesh ranges from bright red to a deep maroon. Sashimi grade, our Yellowfin are all line-caught from the east coast of the United States. Yellowfin has a high fat level, which imparts a subtle flavor and makes for a juicy steak.
