In fitting with its name, the Brook Trout can be found in rivers, lakes, and streams throughout North and South America, New Zealand, Asia, and Europe. A Brook Trout can weigh from 1/2 to seven pounds.

Brook Trout are typically grilled or baked and are good with citrusy fruit and/or garlic. It is a tender white meat and has a pleasant taste.
